Qualifications:
A baccalaureate degree in psychology; counseling; social work; sociology; criminal justice; nursing; public health; public health administration; public administration; hospital administration; education with 24 semester hours in psychology, special education or early childhood education; speech communication/pathology; physical therapy; occupational therapy; therapeutic recreation; music therapy; or family and consumer sciences (with a concentration in child, family and social services) plus five years of professional level experience in any of the following: developmentally disabled services, alcohol/drug abuse counseling or treatment, mental health treatment, health care management, or social services.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
A master''s degree in psychology; counseling; social work; sociology; criminal justice; nursing; public health; public health administration; public administration; hospital administration; education with eighteen semester hours in psychology, special education, or early childhood education; speech communication/pathology; physical therapy; occupational therapy; therapeutic recreation; music therapy; or family and consumer sciences (with a concentration in child, family and social services) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
A Ph.D. in the above fields will substitute for two years of the required experience.
Graduate degrees will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience.

Differs from the Community Services Supervisor by the presence of assuming full responsibility for the region in the absence of the regional administrator.

Serves as an assistant to a regional administrator assuming full responsibility for the region in his or her absence.
Coordinates multiple administrative and programmatic units of the regional office, under the direction of the Administrator,
Assists in the preparation of the annual budget.
Recruits, recommends for hiring and trains professional and support staff.
Supervises Community Services Supervisors, professional and support staff, including establishing standards of performance, assigning work and evaluating job performance.
Supervises state and federally funded/mandated programs.
Interpret agency and regional policies and procedures.
Prepares a variety of reports and provides information to agency administration.
Directs and coordinates the implementation of programs and procedures to assure compliance with federal and state regulations. Oversees the development and monitoring of corrective action plans as required for quality improvement.
Confers with officials of state and local agencies, clients, members of professional organizations and interested groups on matters relating to developmental disabilities.
Assures adherence to fiscal constraints by maintaining oversight and providing direction for expenditures.
Reviews proposed and enacted legislation to assess potential agency impact.
Conducts staff meetings and conferences with professional and support staff to discuss operating problems, organization, budgetary matters, technical problems, and the status of projects.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
