Role Synopsis
The Equipment Specialist - Liner Hanger position is an entry level position designed to get employee familiar and competent in all warehouse activities relating to the Liner Hanger Product Line. It is the first position in a pipeline that can have the employee potentially progress to team lead, field specialist, operations coordinator or salesman.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities
Assemble/Disassemble Liner Hanger Rental tools
Provide routine maintenance on Liner Hanger Rental tools
Assemble/Stab Liner Hanger Systems to be sent offshore
Ability to measure equipment ODs/IDs/lengths
Load equipment baskets
Maintain clean work area and shop
Maintain safe working habits
Essential qualifications/requirements
Basic Math Skills including addition, subtraction and fraction/decimal conversions
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work well in team environments
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications/requirements
Technical or Associates degree preferred
2 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive) a Plus.
Fork Lift training preferred
Overhead crane training preferred
Other details
Position will require being on call every 3rd week/weekend with the possibility of being called in on off weeks pending warehouse work load.
Must be local to Houma, La. and surrounding areas.
