The Human Resources Generalist will interface with employees and upper management on HR matters.
Coordinates the implementation, communication, and monitoring of approved Agency human resources policies and procedures, applicable laws, standards, and government regulations.
Recruits job applicants to fill positions, and walks new hires through the hiring process, assists in the processing of employees' proper wages and monitors employment status of regional staff.
Applicant must be professional, flexible, and motivated.
The position requires a high school diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years' experience working in human services or a related field.
The position requires a reasonable combination in the following skills:
good written/verbal interpersonal skills, the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships, documentation, and the ability to represent the Agency in a highly professional manner, with the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Experience with MS Office, including Word, and Excel is also desired.
Applicant must pass Criminal Record Background Check and LA Motor Vehicle Record Check, have a valid Louisiana Driver's License, current auto liability insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle in safe operating condition with current inspection stickers.
