5K a year LOCATION IN ORGANIZATION:
The position is located in the CIS-Corporate Headquarters and reports directly to the Human Resources Manager for all matters, including job duties, performance evaluations, approval of leave, and other assignments as deemed necessary.
NATURE OF DUTIES:
The nature of the duties are to assist in all areas of Human Resources.
The human resources assistant would also perform data entry, reporting and other support to the Human Resources department as needed.
This position requires the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Must maintain and organize HR filing systems.
Proven ability to recognize and maintain confidential information.
Other miscellaneous and administrative responsibilities as needed.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Data entry of employee records into the HRIS system.
Maintains employee and benefit files and records - ensure complete accurate records.
Communicating, tracking, reviewing, and approving medical and personal leaves of absences.
Assisting with the preparation of pre-employment screenings and employee onboarding.
Respond to all employment verifications.
Assist the Benefits Administrator with benefit paperwork and data entry.
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of new employee forms and records.
Assist with printing employee badges and distributing as requested and upon hire.
Responsible for answering the human resources phone line, fax, and shared email inbox for proper distribution to the appropriate staff to handle.
Assist the Manager as needed with scanning, corresponding, organizing, and a variety of other tasks as they arise.
Any other duties assigned by the Human Resource Manager; including special projects as needed.

Reports safety issues to team leader immediately.
Works efficiently and manages time wisely.
Assist other employees when all duties are complete.
Communicate any problems, difficulties or concerns regarding job duties to the team leader.
Performs all duties without significant error occurring with any regularity.
Meets all deadlines and timeframes for completion of assignments.
Represent CIS in a professional manner at all times.
Demonstrates acceptable ability to interact with physicians, staff (internal customers) and external customers (patients, family members, insurance companies, home health etc.
) on a professional level at all times.
Exhibits good communication skills with physicians, patients, team leaders, and co-workers at all times.
Exhibits whenever possible a harmonious relationship with other CIS employees in order to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the position.
While perfect harmonious relationships with all employees is sometimes not achievable, not more than an occasional complaint should be received by the team leader about the incumbent of this position.
The employee shall work and relate cooperatively with all other employees (internal customers) of CIS to assure optimum care for the patients of CIS and to achieve standards of care set forth by the CIS medical staff.
Adheres to the CIS Compliance Plan as it pertains to the above specific job duties.
Uses best efforts to maintain compliance by following the CIS Corporate Compliance Plan, attending CIS compliance education, following medical documentation guidelines, and communicating concerns regarding compliance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
High school diploma required.
Experience in human resources preferred.
Ability to efficiently work on the computer and multi-task is a requirement.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is a requirement.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
