GENERAL NATURE OF DUTIES:
This is an entry-level professional position requiring the completion of a four-year college degree program in business or finance in order to analyze financial and other data for the corporation.
The data analyses will be presented to the highest levels of management and will be instrumental in the development of or change in policies and procedures affecting the financial status of the corporation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES Analyze and prepare reports / presentations of the corporation's financial data for physicians, management, and other end users of the corporation's financial data.
Makes recommendations of a policy nature regarding suggested changes in policies and procedures in order to maximize the corporation's financial condition.
Analyze the data of the practice's patient statistics and other clinical data and prepare reports / presentations for physicians, management, and other end users of the corporation's data.
Prepares and sends out recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using the corporation's data.
Responsible for maintaining organization and standardization of all data tracking systems/ applications used by CIS.
Performs other data analyses as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in concordance with its patient philosophy.
Assist in the preparation of Board presentations to include getting all financial information from accounting as well as completing all research necessary to support each agenda item; On a quarterly basis, or as often as needed, complete staffing analysis for clinic nursing, front office and diagnostic imaging and benchmark to industry standards; Ensure that all Shareholder and Associate Physician compensation is completed timely and accurately and turned into payroll prior to deadlines
Qualifications:
Completion of a four-year post-high school program leading to a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
MBA or MHA preferred.
Experience in analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and other similar applications and databases required.
Experience in healthcare preferred.
Ability to learn computerized data processing programs.
Ability to learn financial analyses/tracking programs specific to the health care industry.
Ability to learn research techniques and procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to write and present analyses of financial documents, policies, and procedures.
